The two-day RallyX series competition at KymiRing ended with a triumphant Finnish celebration. The sunny weather also pampered the more than 5,000 spectators who arrived and brought a summery atmosphere to
this first international race at KymiRing.

Anton Seppä, Mikko Ikonen and Jari Tuuri took a triple victory in the 4WD Pro Am class. Tommi Hallman, who made a return to RallyX, came second in FC2. Lucas Gabrielsson was second in the Open 2WD class and Mikko Ikonen, who competed in two different classes, came third.

Anton Seppä, who competed in two classes at the same time, took second place in the Open 4WD class. In addition, in the CrossCar junior class, Peetu Piira took the win and Peetu Matalamäki came second.

The RallyX race started on Saturday, and competitors from twelve countries competed in the finals on Sunday.

– The first big race is now over. We thank the audience and competitors and look forward to the next events. I would also like to thank our staff and all the volunteers, without whom such a big race would not be possible, says Kornél Őry, CEO of KymiRing.

Over 70 cars in five different classes had arrived at KymiRing to compete in the RallyX competition. Almost 20 of the drivers participated in the top class of the Open 4WD series. There were also over 20 CrossCar cars.

KymiRing also hosted two other major international competitions this summer. The FIM MXGP World Championship is scheduled for July and the FIA World Rallycross Championship for rallycross in August. In addition, the track hosts numerous domestic events.

The events are organized in close cooperation with AKK Motorsport and the Finnish Motorcycling Association. Important partners also include the city of Kouvola, the Visit Lahti tourism organization, and the municipality of Iitti.
