FAQ

Do I need a special car?2026-06-01T20:48:02+02:00

No. Any roadworthy car with a valid registration is welcome at General Track Days, including everyday road cars. Specific formats (Sport & Race Cars, Race Cars Only) are designed for faster vehicles — but most first-timers come with the car they drive every day.

Do I need a racing licence?2026-06-01T20:48:29+02:00

No. A standard driving licence is all you need. Bring it to check-in.

What if I’ve never driven on track before?2026-06-01T20:48:43+02:00

You can start with a Novice Car Track Day or a Novice Afterwork Session. They’re designed specifically for first-timers — same safety briefing, calm learning environment, and instructors available to pre-book for one-to-one coaching.

What do I need to bring?2026-06-01T20:49:07+02:00

Your driving licence, your car, a helmet, and weather-appropriate clothing. Full requirements are listed in the Track Days Info Hub.

Can I bring a passenger?2026-06-01T20:49:24+02:00

Yes. Passengers must be 16+, wear a helmet, sign a waiver, and be seated with a proper seatbelt or harness.

What’s the cancellation policy?2026-06-01T20:49:40+02:00

More than 14 days before the event: transfer to another date or KymiRing credit (minus admin fee). 14 days or less: no refund or credit, but you can usually transfer your booking to another person. Full policy on each product page.

What language is the briefing in?2026-06-01T20:54:38+02:00

Finnish, while English can be requested separately.

Not sure which format is right for you?

Most first-timers start with a General Car Track Day or a Novice format. If you’re driving a faster car or have track experience, Sport & Race Cars days give you cleaner running with like-minded drivers.
