Historic Kymi Race – Historic Festival 2026 begins tomorrow at KymiRing, bringing together 140 competitors who bring the golden age of racing back to life. Historic Race Finland organizes this popular circuit racing event at KymiRing! The weekend features rounds 7 and 8 of the Gulf Historic Race Cup, with up to nine exciting races per day.

Get in the middle of the action – Step into the paddock!

The event offers spectators a unique opportunity to experience an authentic, vibrant paddock atmosphere up close. In the paddock, you can walk among classic cars, watch the mechanics at work, and meet the drivers, who are happy to share the stories behind their cars. Every driver has its own history: some have been fighting for victory since the 1960s, while others have been brought back to life through restoration projects made with love.

What can you see at the event?

• Historic classes: The track features original and meticulously restored cars from the 1960s–1990s – the same models once seen at Nürburgring or Keimola.
• A wide range of racing categories: These include Historic Touring, GT and GTP cars, Historic Formula cars, Roadsport, Subaru Sport, Mini 1000, and Fiat Historic Ratapotti.
• Classic car display area: Outside the track, stunning classic cars and beautiful sports cars are on display from car clubs and enthusiasts’ collections.
